In a shape inspired by antiquity, this rounded planter is defined by its raw, earthy finish. This raw terracotta planter goes through a special 900 degree firing process. The clay body is "burned" in the kiln after firing at a certain temperature, then the kiln is quickly sealed. This creates a reactive change in the planter and leaves an oxidized finish, resulting in a slight residue to the touch.
