Texas Western Diamondback Rattlesnake is the ONLY snake that can grow more than 1 set of Fangs. Occasionally you will find a Texas Western Diamondback Rattlesnake with an extra set of Fangs growing in behind his awesome smile! And yes, some of these have made it into the Bottled Texas Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Fangs!
As unusual as the animals are they come from, these Texas Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Fangs are removed while Harvesting the Skin and Vertebrae for other uses. They are then Cleaned, Bleached, then Naturally Dried and Preserved.
Handling of Snakes: Each Snake that we get is put in the freezer and frozen for at least 48 hours to put it to sleep. It is then killed, skinned and various parts are harvested. We have a use for literally EVERY part of the Rattlesnake.
The snakeskin is harvest and used for wallets, jewelry, etc. Backbone (vertebrae) is c leaned and purified for jewelry and hat bands. The Rattlesnake Rattler is used for jewelry, hat bands and keychains. So basically the only thing that we waste is the snakes, ‘Hissssss.’
