Note: Unfortunately, the factory GMC emblem (front) for the 2015-2020 Canyon is not suitable for a domed overlay (same as the 2015-2020 Yukon front, by the way). This is because the red portion of the emblem sticks up a little higher than the surrounding chrome area, which means that a thick, domed overlay will lift at the edges. BUT, we do sell matching overlays in our NON domed (so flat, thin overlays with NO gel coat) version in a different listing.
Unlike the others, all of our emblem overlays are PRECUT - absolutely NO TRIMMING! These are self-adhesive, gel-coated emblem "overlays" that are designed to install over your factory GMC emblems- (the factory emblems are NOT included!). These will cover the entire red area and will just cover the gap between the red and chrome. They are also "re-positionable" (until firm pressure is applied)!
What are "gel-coated" or "domed" emblem overlays? They are vinyl overlays with a top clear coat of polyurethane, making them thicker and more durable than NON domed (flat vinyl overlays). The polyurethane coat also gives them a high gloss and 3 dimensional appearance!
How hard are these to install? Not hard at ALL! Because this very high-tech, specialty vinyl allows you to position the overlay and then lift it back up if you need to- again and again- until you apply pressure and make it "permanent"! Install them DRY with no worries!! When you want to remove them, simply heat with a hair dryer and peel off! AND it's removable up to 4yrs without leaving any residue or adhesive behind! We also premask these with clear transfer tape for even easier positioning during install!
