This is a Rewiring Kit for a Bridge Arm Floor Lamp (or any type of floor lamp with one single socket) This kit comes with a 12 Foot floor lamp cord in your choice of Brown or Black, and a socket of your choice. This kit also comes with complete wiring diagrams and instructions.
Sometimes a Bridges Arm Floor Lamp may be missing some of the metal hardware on the end of the arm that is needed to secure the socket or a glass globe or fabric shade. While these are not electrical components, they are necessary in the restoration and proper operation of this style of lamp. Please Note: This rewiring kit is to replace all of the electrical components on your lamp (in this case a socket and a cord). This does not include the metal socket shell that holds the socket in place. That is a lamp part which your lamp should already have and there is no reason to replace it (or charge you for something that you don't need) unless yours is missing. If your socket shell is missing or the Bridge Arm swivel bracket, we do also sell these parts. Please check our listings.
For Oversized Mogul Porcelain Sockets Only: Please note that some vintage Floor Lamps have an oversized Porcelain Mogul Socket. If your Floor Lamp currently has an oversized porcelain Mogul Socket, You CANNOT Change this socket to a standard size socket because lamps with a porcelain Mogul Socket connects to a 1/2" threaded center rod. A standard Socket screws onto a 3/8" threaded center rod. Also, because of the height difference, the port for the stem (or turn knob) would not line up. However, we also offer a special Mogul Bulbs or, if you prefer to use a regular bulb, we also sell the adaptors to convert the Mogul Socket to accept a standard bulb.)
