Each letter is completed QUICKLY within 1-3 business days of ordering (please take into account when you order Friday through Sunday, including USA federal holidays on Friday or Monday, as those are not business days). We proudly source authentic parchment at 90 gsm for each letter, so it feels like the description in the book! The Rush Options mean that you are put at the front of the line in order of date and time, and it will be shipped via USPS Priority Shipping. If you need it faster, please purchase faster shipping as well as the Rush option to meet your needs. If you order after 10 am on Thursday or later, your letter may or may not be sent out until the following Monday, depending on my schedule. Gifts: Marking as a gift doesn't change anything other than the packing slip, as there is no difference in how the letter is fulfilled. You CAN choose the Brown Paper Wrap option, though, for the added touch of making the letter look like it's being delivered via Owl Post! We do not sell separate tickets or other items that come with each letter. Please understand that this is our policy. •••• I *do not* modify the text of the letter at all, except for Lost Owls for adults or children (one extra sentence describes how the owl got lost on the way for their 11th birthday, etc.). Customization happens with the name and address of the recipient, and the complimentary free pre-written note if desired (see below). Write your own if you wish, but if you're unsure what to say, I am happy to use a pre-written note typeset as if you wrote it in wizard handwriting, and include it with the train ticket in the envelope tucked in with the letter. The note can include happy birthday wishes, say Happy Christmas or <insert holiday here>, or you can write one of your choosing. For any note if you write one, please keep it to a SHORT 2-3 sentences maximum please. If you want to know what the pre-written note says, please send me a message through Etsy's message system.
