Welcome to Belle Fleur Costumes. Thank you for visiting my shop. I am a costume designer specializing in beautiful, feminine dance costumes.
I provide fabric options that I think will work well with the design, but you are not limited to those choices. All designs can be made in any color you choose.
High quality Lycra lining is included in the price of all my costumes. I fully line the front of all my designs. White and Pastel tones often need an extra thin layer at the bust line. I line the back of the brief if I feel the costume needs it.
I am a former dancer and teacher. I love beautiful costumes! They are so transforming. Belle Fleur means beautiful flower. Flowers are the crowning glory to any plant or tree. I never tire of their natural beauty.
I learned the basics of sewing from my mother and sisters. I began sewing my own pointe shoes at about age 12, and quickly moved on to small alterations to my dancewear. At the end of my dance career, I went back to school to study design at FIDM. This gave me the tools I was needing to create original costume designs with superior fit. I have been making custom costumes for my students for the past 20 years. I am thrilled to expand my offerings through Etsy to anyone looking for a custom costume.
