Mounting is easy, there is an insert that locks under the front body retainer. Double sided tape on either side to attach to the inside of the body and then screw in to the stock body brace on the underside of the roof. Required screw is included
This item will be available for the passenger side and also available for the driver side if you wish to mimic the design on both sides. You will need to trim the body accordingly if you want to mimic both sides. Trimming is required to install the Non cut side, this may also apply to the insert as well. due to possible traxxas manufacturing alignment issues. as an example on one test body the insert fit in no issue. on another test body the even with the hole being cut the same the insert needed a slightly larger opening to one side on the screw hole to align, and on the 3rd test body the bottom tab that locks under the body mount had to be trimmed on the one side closest to the clip. Easy adjustment but take time to do correctly.
Recommended that you run fans. While this is designed to allow airflow it doesnt allow as much airflow as the stock opening. Without running fans you can still over heat you electronics.
