Century agave is now mostly used as an ornamental plant. It grows HUGE when given the space and correctly climate. Called the century plant for the rumor that it blooms once every 100 years- the reality is it’s more like 10-30 years :). Still dies after it blooms tho!
This plant grows best in hardiness zones 8-10 but can be grown as cute little house plants too!
