A- Cast metal mare & foal. Brown painted and green at the base. Lots of chippy paint showing the silver underneath. Measures 9'' H x 10 3/4''. Two screw holes at bottom. They go through and through not up and down. No maker's mark. Back is not painted. I love the look of this, but you could always sand gently then repaint or leave in as- found vintage condition.
B- Heavy cast- iron horse with short tail. At first, I thought maybe the tail was broken, but it's not... its smooth and rounded. Measures 7 1/2'' H x 9''. It has two screw holes that sit behind the base and go up and down; so definitely would work on a mailbox, I think. It's a dark silver color, light scratches, wear/ aging. I love the look of this, but you could always sand gently then repaint or leave in as- found vintage condition.
C- Cast metal horse with long tail and mane. Measures 8'' H x 10''. This one is figural on both sides, so you could mount in either direction. It is painted black and has light overall wear to the paint and you can see flecks of silver coming through the paint. He's got an interesting mane profile. The screw hole on this one is singular and right in the middle of his side. I love the look of this, but you could always sand gently then repaint or leave in as- found vintage condition.
