When lighting for the first time, burn until the pool of melted wax reaches the edge of the glass. To prevent overheating and to preserve the fragrance, do not burn for more than three-four hours. Keep burning candles away from drafts, vents, fans and air currents. Once extinguished, allow wax to fully harden and trim wicks to 1/4" before relighting. If wicks become off-center when burning, extinguish flames and carefully re-center wicks while wax is still soft. Keep wick trimmings and foreign debris out of wax. Discontinue burning when 1/2" of wax remains or vessel may shatter.</p>
