This ES9 Swingmaster is a 3/4-size double bass, in a beautiful, natural blonde finish, with a great mellow, boomy tone. The Swingmaster employs the same laminated construction used in other Engelhardt basses. Purchased in 2003, this bass has had minimal gigging, mainly stayed in my studio. All glue joints are secure, neck and fingerboard are straight, and geared tuning machines work as they should.
