Nike switched from a one piece plastic sole plate to a newly constructed directly injected bladed stud configuration
Using less materials with a super durable and lightweight plastic configuration made these boots the lightest Mercurial at the time
Nike also started to use carbon fiber on the heel cup for extra stability and reinforcement

With a lineup full of studs rocking the Vapor III, including R9, Thierry Henry, CR7, Drogba and many more, this was one of the most exciting Mercurial launches ever
An incredibly rare colorway in the R9 edition that is not often seen today. The condition of the boots is as close to brand new as they can be, with just a few minor marks on the studs. The upper is perfect, the studs still have the dimples on them
