Say hello to the NEW Stealth Top Vault, the top-opening, quick-access biometric stealth pistol safe that pops open after a quick scan of your finger. Its pop-up door allows for incredibly fast retrieval of your handgun in a home defense scenario making it perfect for your nightstand or drawer.
New and Improved, the Stealth Top Vault features no exposed holes, a new protective cover over the biometric scanner button, an internal protective anti-tamper mechanism, a high security pick-proof laser-cut key override, thicker foam padding and a high-strength security cable included. The Stealth Top Vault Safe features a new protective steel lock shield which will prevent any lock tampering.
The all-new locking system features a biometric fingerprint scanner, quick access Electronic Keypad & Lock Shield with choice of a 6 digit combination that illuminates with a blue light after the first button is activated, and 2 backup override keys. With audible feedback, you'll know the button has been pushed and after the correct finger is scanned or combination is completed, the shock-assisted door pops open to present your pistols. An optional stealth mode allows for zero audible feedback on the keypad and scanner making it totally silent.
The Stealth Top Vault TV1 is built of heavy 12 gauge steel construction in the body and 14 gauge steel in the door making it very robust for its size. A 16-gauge steel plate behind the keypad reinforces the push buttons and gives added security to the locking mechanism. The door is built with a folded steel edge that prevents access to the change combination button through prying and also features an internal hinge that runs a steel rod through the door which is screwed in place through the inside of the safe adding considerable strength. Finally, the anti-impact latch hooks into the safe’s body and offers maximum pry resistance. The safe also now comes with a high strength security cable so no one can steal the safe itself. On the bottom of the safe are 4 placements for securing the safe to a fixed surface.
After the door pops open, the white interior light activates making it easy to see your handguns even in the dark. The top and bottom of the safe’s interior is lined with high quality foam that is perfect for storing and protecting up to two handguns. With its large internal height, you can store any type of pistol including full-size, compact, sub-compact and revolvers.
The Stealth Top Vault runs off of a 9 Volt battery or you can leave the safe plugged in for faster access via the included power port.
On the bottom of the safe are 4 placements for securing the safe to a fixed surface.

Troubleshooting Guide
Opening the Safe for the First Time:
Take the Included keys (located in a cutout in the foam packaging)
Insert Key into Keyhole & Turn Right (clockwise) to open the door
Adding Power to the Safe Using Battery or Power Cable:
Use a brand new Duracell Coppertop 9-Volt Battery expiring at least 5 years in the future.
WHY THIS BATTERYBecause this battery has the highest amperage output that is needed to operate the lock.
Locate the battery compartment inside the safe
Pinch together the tabs on the battery tray and slide it out
Correctly insert a Duracell Coppertop 9-Volt battery into the tray and slide tray back into compartment [lock will chime]
Alternatively, you can simply plug in the included power cord into the port located on the left side of the safe
Yes, you can have both the battery installed and the power cord plugged in at the same time
Setting your 6-Digit Combination
NOTE: When you first receive the safe the electronic keypad is set to the factory default of 1-2-3-4-1-2
STEP 1: Hold down BUTTON 1 until green light turns on – lock will beep twice
Button 1 is the first button on the far left of the keypad
STEP 2: Enter the current 6-digit code - Lock will beep twice
Factory Default Code 1-2-3-4-1-2
STEP 3:Enter your NEW 6-digit code – lock will beep three times
STEP 4: Re-enter your NEW 6-digit code – lock will chime
Your new combination has been successfully set!
Error Note:If lock beeps 5 times, the combination was not installed successfully. Simply restart from STEP 1.
IMPORTANT! Test your new code several times with the door open to ensure the new code is properly set up before closing and locking the safe so you don’t get locked out.
Registering a Fingerprint
IMPORTANT: This safe will open on any fingerprint until the first fingerprint has been successfully registered. Make sure you at least register 1 fingerprint before storing valuables inside. This safe can store up to 31 different fingerprints. If you think you have registered your first fingerprint and it still opens on any fingerprint then you did not properly register that fingerprint and should try again.
Press ONCE [DO NOT HOLD] the Biometric Scanner Button – lock will beep twice and biometric scanner will illuminate green
The Biometric Scanner Button is located inside the safe near the battery compartment and the interior light
Place and hold your finger fully on biometric scanner – hold your finger in position until lock chimes
Chime indicates your finger was successfully registered!
Error Note:If lock beeps 5 times, that fingerprint was not installed successfully. Simply restart from the beginning of registering your fingerprint.
Silent Mode
To turn ON Silent Mode press and hold Button 4 for about 5 Seconds until you see a light flash. To turn OFF Silent Mode Hold Button 4 again until light flashes and you hear a beep.
Resetting your Top Vault
Hold down biometric scanner button until lock beeps 5 times
Lock will reset to the factory default code of 1-2-3-4-1-2 , erase all registered fingerprints and open on any fingerprint until one is successfully registered.
TROUBLESHOOTING
LOCKOUT MODE: If the safe is constantly beeping, won’t let you enter your code on the electronic keypad or use a registered fingerprint to get into the safe, your safe is in LOCKOUT MODE. This is a built in safety feature that happens with 4 consecutive wrong entry attempts. Wait 5 minutes for beeping/flashing to stop [with power added to the safe]. Retry your fingerprint/code or reset your safe back to default settings by holding down the registration button.
Please Note: Power must be added to the safe during the whole 5 minute lockout period via either the installed battery or power cord. Removing the power will only pause the 5 minute timer, only to be resumed once power is added back to the safe.
LOW BATTERY: if buttons can be pressed, scans fingerprint and clicks to unlock but the safe door doesn't open, short red flash after entry attempt on keypad or scanner. This means the battery you have installed in the safe is low and doesn’t have enough power to open the door of the safe. You will need to open the safe with the override key or plug in the power cable and enter your code. Then replace the battery with a brand new Duracell Coppertop 9V Battery.
