The Prodigal Son Mk4 has a polished chrome finish with copper and black accents. It features an activation box with red/green lit arrows and black details. The activation box has a magnetic control card that conceals the switches and recharge port (when needed). The Prodigal Son features a tri-ring attached to the pommel for clipping to your belt. Collet Lock Blade System: A collet is a machined metal sleeve with slits that compresses to securely hold a cylinder when two housings are threaded together, it was developed for high speed machining where retention of cylindrical metal bits under extremely high torque and speed is required. We took the tried and true concept of a machining collet and adapted it to work with polycarbonate blades. Simply unthread the emitter cap a few turns to loosen the collet, slide the blade into the blade holder, then thread the emitter cap down snugly to tighten the collet down onto the blade.
