Cavalry of the period was typically of two main types: the Demi-lancer and the Reiter. Both typically wore three-quarters plate armor specializing on the lance for the former and a combination of sword and pistol for the latter. </span></p> <p class="p5"><span class="s1">This hard plastic box set allows you to build up to 12 riders equipped with sword, matchlock pistol, wheel-lock pistol, and lance. Optional armor pieces are included for the horses (or the horses can be used plain with the included saddles).
