The Aged Solid Copper shades are made from solid copper. It has been fired for an aged look finish. These shades have a natural oxidised finish that continues to develop over time. The rustic finish is rough showcases the natural aged beauty of copper. The inside is cleaned (not buffed) and then left raw. This finish will continue to patina over time dependant on the environmental conditions they are placed in.
Our copper shades are made with 100% natural materials. The finishes are not designed to be a uniform, consistent finish. A consistent finish can only be achieved through electroplating over cheaper materials. The beauty of choosing natural materials are the characteristics of the imperfections and patina which continue to develop over time. The imperfections are not considered defects.
The shade measures 300mm in diameter and 155mm in height.
The brass gooseneck wall sconce has a 240mm projection from the wall mount to the lampholder and a total drop of 120mm from the elbow to the lampholder.
Please note: As this light is made to order, there is a longer lead time. This ensures the highest standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Requires one Australian standard B22 (bayonet) 40W max light bulb.
