Prac-tic Spot On for Dogs Prac-tic Spot On for dogs is a monthly spot on flea and tick preventative treatment. It provides protection against fleas and ticks for 30 days. The flea spot-on also treats tick infestations including: Amblyomma americanum, Ixodes scapularis, Dermacentor variabilis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus. It is recommended for puppies and dogs at least 8 weeks of age and weighing more than 4 lbs. in body weight. Prac-tic Spot On for Dogs lasts for a full month. It contains Pyriprole as an active ingredient that works by affecting GABA receptors of fleas and ticks resulting in their death. It kills fleas within a day and ticks within two days of administration. Prac-tic Spot On also aids in the control and treatment of Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD) in dogs along with controlling future flea and tick infestations when given on a monthly basis.
