Claude Montana Pout Idéal Cuir Leather Jacket – Late 1970s / Early 1980s
A early Claude Montana piece from his collaboration with Parisian leather atelier Idéal, this jacket showcases his sharp tailoring and structured silhouettes. Made from supple lambskin, it features sculptural paneling, a high snap-button collar, slit pockets, cuff zippers and strong, contoured lines that defined Montana’s leatherwork in the late ‘70s and early ‘80s. The lining has been removed so no tags but the jacket is identifiable by its Idéal-engraved zipper—Montana’s go-to manufacturer for these collectible pieces.
