Having never tried the original formula, I am grateful for the formulation since it is a perfect texture for my skin! The reformulated product is now slightly thicker but still spreads easily and offers great hydration. The addition of bamboo provides great moisturization and nourishment to dry skin, and even though it has been reformulated, this product is still great for sensitive and acne prone skin; they have kept the skin-barrier-strengthening panthenol, as well as squalane to prevent moisture loss. I personally love to layer this cream at night as a protective and ultra-hydrating night mask when I have used any actives in my routine.

How to Use
