The Tyrolit Machinist's Stone is precision ground to an optimal flatness profile.
Built with a two-layer construction process: One layer contains a relatively rough silicon carbide grit with 120 mesh grit dimension to guarantee a certain material removal and the opposite layer contains a fine silicon carbide grit with 320 mesh grit size to ensure a smooth surface finish.
Both layers are made with a medium-hard vitrified bond system to achieve a free cutting behavior and at the same time keep the plane surface the machinist desires for a long time.
Apply the stone to the surface with coolant or lubricant to achieve the best result.

Care Instructions
Store the stone on safe, flat surface to maintain its edge.
Before first use soak the stone with coolant (water or emulsion).
