Welcome to the GAM Glow Ultra Research Project. As part of our underground artist network, you'll take part in our R&D process for developing Neon Heavy Texture colors. We have test batches for you to experiment with, and we need your help to finalize the formula.
Research and Development Focus
Accepting the limitations of acrylic paints isn't really our thing. We may not have chemistry PhDs, but we are enthusiastic experimenters who get results. We're out to reinvent what fluorescent acrylics can do. Regardless of the outcome, we are certain to have some fun together in the process.

Very weak opacity found in most fluorescent acrylics
Color intensity is limited when applied over dark surfaces
The costs associated with professional-grade quality are prohibitively high

Procedure
Choose from one to four variants based on your needs. Please be mindful of other participants, as stock is limited.
Printed instructions with a QR code are included for easy access to the research questions. You can also enter the URL manually in your browser.
Use the paints to experiment and document your findings, focusing on how the paints perform on different surfaces and under various conditions.
Your results will be kept private and used to improve the final neon heavy texture paint recipe.
As a token of our appreciation for your input, you will receive early access to the new neon-heavy textures at their official launch. Plus, behind the scenes progress reports.
Test Batch Descriptions
Neon Yellow Test A (32 fl oz): A mix of Bismuth Yellow (PY184) and Fluorescent Yellow pigment produces a sticky-note yellow. It has a greenish glow when exposed to black light.
Neon Yellow Test B (32 fl oz): This batch has a unique charm. It has a rough texture and a muted yellow color that turns ochre when dry. It glows faintly blue under black light.
Neon Orange Test A (32 fl oz): It’s giving reflective safety vest orange from a truck stop. A mix of yellow and orange fluorescent pigments. Fires up to a very bright orange under black light.
Neon Orange Test B (32 fl oz): Single pigment fluorescent orange. Slightly more glare than Test A. It might be your choice for lasting art as it stands out without a blacklight.
Technical Specifications
Made with 100% acrylic emulsion
Formaldehyde-free
Marble dust is used as a matting agent to enhance neon effect
Pigments emit up to four times more light than conventional pigments
Water-resistant and durable finish
Dries to a smooth, flat sheen
Paint Applications
You can use this paint on most surfaces that are not glossy or oily. This includes wood, canvas, paper, cardboard, and so on.
You can intermix them or with any gaffrey acrylic paints to create different colors
Spreads like butter with a palette knife for smooth coverage. Or carve it up for stiff peaks that hold their shape.
You can create 3D paint sculptures with piping tips. These sculptures can be anything from flowers to abstract shapes.
Glows under UV/Black Light (Does not 'Glow in the Dark')
Our manufacturing process
We make test batches in 50-gallon minimums due to the high power and force required for Heavy Texture. We're still fine-tuning fluorescent pigment samples and additives to meet our standard. Our goal is a neon paint recipe that matches the quality of our Heavy Texture paints.
