Color:  Red Burgundy OR Purple-leaning Burgundy  **The color can be inconsistent as sometimes they will lean red and sometimes they will lean in the plum burgundy direction.  As a florist, I know that the color is so dark it will look darkly saturated in photos. They do not have to 'bloom' so they are good to go when you get'em. Very textured heads, which is nice if you're working with a lot of roses. The Bad:  Can be curvy with a droopy head.  Has shorter vase life so keep in a cool location away from the sun.   Scabiosa can have inconsistent color tones.  Sometimes they can lean red-burgundy and sometimes they can lean purple burgundy. Sometimes Scabiosa will arrive not bloomed (without petals). They still lend a gorgeous texture to bouquets, bouts, and centerpieces!
