The Tsunami Carbon Shield II series is outfitted with top of the line single foot Alps S-6 Guides. The 8ft Extra Heavy is equipped with standard double foot S-6 Alps guides. The premium cork grips provide comfort and durability to the rod. Another great feature on this Carbon Shield II rod is the anodized aluminum reel seat with stainless steel hoods and custom locking ring. The one piece, 100% carbon fiber blanks are strong, resilient, powerful and light weight to make casting, hooking and fighting big fish a breeze. A tip strength increase of thirty percent and greatly improved sensitivity are just two of the important benefits found in the TSUNAMI™ Carbon Shield II rods.
