FSD’s bolt on traction bar frame mounts are the easiest way to install a set of traction bars on your truck. These will bolt onto to your 3” frame seamlessly giving you a way to attach a traction bar with a firm grip. Our mounts ensure zero movement under load & are built with the strongest of materials right here at our shop in Bangor, PA. Light drilling is required, see the installation instructions below.

(2) Grade 8 3/4”-10 x 5” Long Bolts
(2) Grade 8 3/4”-10 Nylon Lock Nuts
(4) Grade 8 3/4” Washers
(2) 304 Stainless Steel Overlays
Frame Mount Installation:
Hold the frame mount up where you would like to mount it.
Mark & drill the top 3 holes using a 17/32nd Drill bit (0.531”).
Install the (3) 3/8” -16 Nutserts.
Bolt the bracket to the frame using the (3) 3/8" Bolts.
Make sure that there are no gaps between the bracket & frame.
Mark & drill the bottom 2 holes using a pilot bit.
Remove the top 3 bolts.
Remove the bracket
Drill the 2 bottom holes using a 17/32nd Drill bit (0.531”).
Install both bottom threaded inserts using a threaded insert tool.
Reinstall bracket loosely
Evenly tighten all 5 bolts using red high strength lock tight.
Repeat on the other side.
NOTE: Brackets come raw steel & need to be painted or Powdercoated. Pictures are for visual purposes only.
