The skin of this fruit is thin, smooth, and its texture is crunchy  similar to apples, pears, and even green mango, when consumed green, and is super juicy like a peach when ripe. As they ripen, these fruits change from green to yellow and then to orange. The flavor can be slightly acidic but becomes sweeter when ripe.
