What is 7oh?
7oh, also known as 7-Hydroxymitragynine, is an alkaloid in kratom. According to Kruegel et al., 7oh is a key mediator of the analgesic effects of kratom. Not only is it more potent than mitragynine, it also doesn't activate the β-Arrestin pathway like traditional opioids. Additionally, 7oh displays G protein-biased agonism at the mu-opioid receptor, making it a desired option for relief.
