Our lasts have been modified and improved for over 45 years by renowned skate designer Mr. Inze Bont. So, we have a pretty good place to start. We hand-wrap the carbon fiber and fiberglass around the memory foam to ensures a very lightweight yet durable base. Additionally, the epoxy resin we use is the most heat moldable resin in the industry! The boot also has anti stretch tapes that ensure the boot does not stretch over time.The luna inline speed skate differs from the Bont Jet inline speed skate in that this boot has no thermoplastic inside the boot. Thermoplastic is great for molding your boot in the oven to customize the boot to your foot. However, if you don't need this feature then the Luna inline speed skate is a better skate choice for you than the Jet.
