UniCONNECT+ is a Programming and Diagnostic Interface which gives users the freedom to reflash their Engine Control Unit (ECU) or Transmission Control Unit (TCU) from the comfort of their own garage. With the ability to upgrade the Unitronic Performance Software, flash back to stock, and also perform diagnostics, UniCONNECT+ is a complete end-user programming and diagnostic interface that provides control over your vehicle. Unitronic ECU Software Requirements If you are purchasing this cable, please be aware that you will need to have Unitronic software installed to your ECU. If you do not already have Unitronic ECU Software, you will need to purchase software to install to your ECU. Without Unitronic ECU software, this cable will not work. To purchase Unitronic Software for your vehicle, please select your vehicle using the "Select Vehicle" option on the menu and select your vehicle. The Unitronic ECU Software can be found in the "ECU Upgrades" category under the "Engine" category. Why do you need my vehicle information? Unitronic requires this information so that we can register your vehicle in their software programming database. If your vehicle already has Unitronic software installed, we use your VIN to match your new Uniconnect+ cable to your vehicle in their database. This way, when your new cable arrives, you can simply plug it into your car and start using it right away. We cannot emphasize enough that you absolutely should have a proper battery charger connected to your vehicle while performing any ECU flashing. If you do not do this, you WILL run the risk of making your vehicle inoperable. The Unitronic+ Programmer is not returnable under most circumstances. The only exception for this policy is if you were to receive your cable and Unitronic does not have a tune for your vehicle.
