Unique to the Mohawk River area in upstate New York, these crystals began forming as long as 500 million years ago. With a ranking of 7 (out of 10) on the Mohs hardness scale, Herkimer diamonds are an excellent choice for daily wear, heirloom, or bridal pieces.
