This unit replaces the magazine base plate on the Springfield Armory HELLCAT and HELLCAT PRO(not for 10rnd magazines). This extension adds one round capacity to the magazine and adds approximately 3/4" inch additional gripping surface. It also incorporates a texture similar to the frame. This product utilizes the patented PearceLock attachment mechanism.(US 10,996,010 B2)Works on 13 round magazines, but users will lose a round of capacity on these magazines because they are equipped with factory +2 extensions. You will however gain a better grip due to the parts enhanced ergonomics.
