2 Workshops, 2 Sundays, January 14th and January 21st One of the main things I hear when I ask my students what are your goals in sewing? They say, "I want to be able to hem my clothes or do my own alterations."
The 1st Alteration's Workshop was great and over a year ago and long overdue! Kickstarting Sunday Afternoon's with the Alteration's Workshops. Students can choose between or choose both Hemming and Zipper Repair, and/or Takein, Take Out Workshops, helping you get started working on your own alterations and clothing repairs.
In the 2 hour workshops, students can bring clothing pieces to work on following the workshop you sign up for to learn how to hem, repair or replace a broken zipper (must bring a zipper to use encase zipper cannot be repaired) and/or learn how to take in or take out your clothing dependent on which workshops you choose to attend.Requirements: Must know how to Thread and use the Sewing Machine. Sewing Experience is Required. A Waiver Release Form Required to be signed in shop.
Bring your own notebook and pencil recommended if you want to take notes.
