Our fiery Molten Magma is a highly saturated glowing red hue that may operate on the dry side in some pens. Easily make the ink perform wetter by reducing viscosity to taste, blending with Dilution Solution or another Birmingham Pen Company ink. Visual properties will gradually alter with dilution, varying by diluent. Regular pen cleaning is suggested and could require extra effort, but the dye colorants are entirely water-soluble. This supersaturated hue performs best with broad point-grade nibs or thicker.
Molten Magma is part of the Keystone Formula fountain pen ink line, our traditional dye-colorant ink. The 100mL volume will provide approximately 125 standard converter refills assuming a 0.8mL draw.
