Vita-Min (6 oz.) is our best-selling once-a-day 'herbal multivitamin' in fully absorbable tea form. These beautifully grown herbs bring deep nutrition and re-mineralization into the body, one sip at a time. This tea blend combines hormone-loving red clover (Trifolium pratense), uterus-tonifying red raspberry (Rubus idaeus), iron-laden nettle (Urtica dioica), soothing oatstraw (Avena sativa), silica-packed horsetail (Equisetum spp.), and refreshing mint (Mentha piperita).*
Our Vita-Min formula harnesses the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients found to be valuable in plants into one bioavailable blend and is the perfect combination to make into herbal teas or infusions.
For years, customers have been lovingly requesting a pregnancy tea swimming in nutrients. This is our humble offering to you! Vita-Min is perfectly appropriate for those in pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, post-partum, and nursing times, and is also a perfectly appropriate addition for anyone else.

Is Vita-Min for women only - or is it okay for all genders?
Absolutely - there are no ingredients within Vita-Min that would be inappropriate for anyone. It's simply a nutritive blend of herbs for tea/infusion no matter who you are. Vita-Min is for all.
Is horsetail okay for pregnant or lactating people?
Traditional herbalism tells us that horsetail in small amounts taken at any time of life is beneficial due to its mineral content and overall nutrient density. Teas/tisanes are a mild dosage of any particular herb, and in Vita-Min, horsetail is approximately one-fifth of the formula, which we feel comfortable with for those who are pregnant or nursing. As always, if you have concerns about horsetail consumption, please consult your trusted healthcare provider.
How to Use:
To make a tea, steep 1-2 tsp of dried herb in a cup of boiled water for 15-30 minutes or to taste. Strain and enjoy with a bit of honey, if you wish.
To make a stronger nourishing herbal infusion, steep 1 oz (by weight) according to the instructions on the label. Place one ounce (about a cup) of dried herb into a quart mason jar. Fill it with boiling water, put a lid on it, and let it steep for 4-8 hours. If you like, you can add a pinch of mint or licorice root for flavor. Then strain out the plant material, compost it, and enjoy one or more cups of the liquid daily. Infusions are delicious warm or cold and can be sweetened with honey or any other natural sweetener. They keep for 2-3 days in the refrigerator. Click here, here, and here for some fun videos on making nourishing herbal infusions.
