There's this little-known artist named Prince. He was in this little-known movie called Purple Rain. Ever heard of it? Well it was filmed a few years back in Minneapolis, and a few of the scenes were shot in this little-known music venue (that used to be a bus station) called First Avenue & 7th Street Entry. If you're in a band you've probably heard of it. It's a swell place.
This print pays homage to the roots of one of the greatest venues in the midwest, IMHOP and all of the amazing artists who've had the privilege to perform there.
Thanks for all the great memories and many, many more to come from First Ave & the 7th Street Entry in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Rock & Roll!
