How to install Fikwot FN970 PCIe Gen4 x4 Internal SSD with Heatsink?
1. Please choose 1 thin among the 4 thermal pads that come with the product.
(Note: For SSDs with single-sided particles, please use 1 thick and 1 thin thermal pad, and for SSDs with double-sided particles, please use 1 thin thermal pads)
2. Peel off the plastic film from one of the thermal pads and place it in the slot on the bottom of the heatsink.
3. Place the M.2 SSD on the thermal pad (note that the chip should be facing upwards).
4. Adjust the M.2 SSD to a proper position, exposing the screw holes and the M.2 interface.
5. Tear off the plastic film of the other heat conduction pad, and stick it on the bottom of the heat dissipation vest on the top cover.
6. Insert one side of the heat sink into the slot on the base. After adjusting the position, press down on the other side of the heat sink with force. When you hear a "click" sound, it means that the heat sink has been installed in place.
7. Fix the SSD and the installed heat sink with screws or the buckles that come with the motherboard.

Q: Why does the capacity displayed on the computer not match the description?
A: The actual available memory capacity may be less than the total storage capacity listed because some of the listed capacity is used for formatting and not for data storage.
Actual capacity calculation: total storage capacity x 0.93
Example - 256GB SSD:
Factory capacity: 256x1000x1000x1000=256,000,000,000B=256GB
Actual capacity: 256,000,000,000B/1024/1024/1024=256GB x 0.93=238GB
Q: Why does the speed not match the description?
A: You can check the slot of the device and motherboard. If plugged into a PCle 3.0 interface, the speed will be reduced. You need to plug in a PCle 4.0 connector. Also, using an external hard drive enclosure will slow down the hard drive. The transmission speed will vary according to different hardware/software conditions, so this data is for basic reference only.
Q: Why can't the SSD be recognized?
A: 1) The first reason may be that the SSD is wrongly inserted into the slot of the M.2 SATA interface.
2) The second reason may be that the partition has not been formatted. The newly purchased SSD is blank and needs to be formatted in Disk Management before it can be used. Initial formatting involves locating volumes and creating partitions in Disk Management. After performing the formatting process, our computer will be able to recognize and use it. It is recommended to format under the windows operating system and use the NTFS format.
Q: Will the temperature be very high?
A: Fast speed means high temperature, which is a normal phenomenon. Graphene stickers and heat sinks can effectively cool down and ensure stable performance.
Q: What's in the box?
A: 1*ssd, 1*radiator, 4*graphene stickers (2 thick + 2 thin), 1*screw, 1 screwdriver, 1*instruction manual
