This blend is our homage to the first and original blend of coffee dating back over 500 years ago. This roast blends origins that date back to the start of the coffee trade. It came to fruition with coffees that were traded out of the Moka Port in Yemen blended with coffees traded out of the Java Port in Indonesia.
Our Moka Java blend incorporates these two regions with each bean roasted at different levels. A medium light roast profile offers bright floral flavors while the dark roasted beans is bold, robust with chocolate flavors. This blend is great for espresso, drip coffee machines and immersion style brew methods. Like it iced, this blend makes an excellent and well balanced cold brew!
