Hi, everyone! My name is Alma. I was born and I live in Podgorica, capital of Montenegro. My mother tongue is Serbian (Montenegrin, Croatian, Bosnian). I am fluent in English as well, and I have intermediate level of knowledge of French and Spanish. I hold bachelor's degree in psychology and I am currently on a mission of getting master's degree. Throughout the years and my studies, I spent a lot of time abroad in culturally diverse settings which helped me realize the importance of knowing languages in order to fully express yourself and experience different cultures. At the same time, it helped me discover my passion for sharing my knowledge with other people and helping them reach their own goals. When I am done with my everyday duties, I enjoy time with my family and friends. I can be found roaming through streets of my beloved hometown trying to capture it's beauty with my analogue and DLSR cameras :) In the last 5 years, I have been actively involved in helping international students integrate in new surrounding by teaching them Serbian language. I also have experience in helping kids who come from minority groups to learn Serbian and English. My lessons are personalized and completely adjusted to my students' needs in order to reach their goals in the most efficient way possible. Even if it may seem overwhelmingly complex, Serbian grammar is beautifully organized system, and from my experience, once I help students realize that, everything starts getting into place.
