I can only answer after getting to know the student because each path is unique and I always try to work on the weaknesses of your Italian in the most effective and enjoyable way for you. Teaching for me is a 360-degree field and I continue to study to improve myself and train other teachers. I am an author of Italian manuals for foreigners and you can read my name in some CILS preparation courses. I also collaborate as an editor with a publishing house, which brings me into contact with many new books to analyze and experience with you! You may have guessed that I am an active and enthusiastic person but also very patient! I also like to help teenagers in exam preparation and with their Italian, even with learning problems. At the moment I'm trying to teach only during certain times of the day so that I can also take care of work as an evaluator, examiner, editor, author, etc. I am also involved in study trips because I have a B&B at home that I love to run, so I am available for periods of full immersion in Italian in this beautiful Liguria! What do I do in my spare time? I have been doing martial arts for 11 years, it is a difficult path but one that I am passionate about and has helped me a lot in life. I also love to sing. I cuddle my cats and travel with my friends whenever possible or I often go to work online from the countryside to regenerate a bit. My teaching method is very versatile based on the student's goals and needs. A different approach may be needed for each one, both on an emotional and human level and on a linguistic level. For advanced learners, my lessons focus on vocabulary learning through cloze test activities created appositely from authentic articles and calibrated to the level. On an article we work with grammar, new vocabulary and conversation on that topic. For beginners, the General method is communicative by trying to put the student at ease to repeat the first words in Italian. Slowly it will become more and more natural. Grammatical approach is not excluded, I always work on grammar but almost always starting from the concrete use of the language.
