Origin: Mushy Jackfruit is a type of Jackfruit. Jackfruit is known as the largest fruit in the world, reaching up to 80 pounds in weight. This fruit is the perfect centerpiece to any fruit themed party or potluck. Flavor Profile: The flavor is very sweet and flavorful, similar to Juicy Fruit gum. Texture is creamy and juicy. How To Eat: This is the soft “MUSHY” variety! It easily peels open and has very little latex. Before cutting open, press on the outside, it should have lots of give. Also, the Jackfruit should have a fruity smell before you cut into it, as well. This delicious fruit is often eaten on its own, but it can be cooked with barbecue sauce to make a healthy plant-based alternative to pulled pork sandwiches or even blended into a smoothie with coconut milk and ice.  First come first serve, any orders that can't be shipped this season will be reserved for next season. Approximately 15-30 pounds per mushy Jackfruit. It all depends on the season, weather, and the shipping location. The fruit may occasionally be smaller if it’s a small variety or if shipping to a very distant region.
