When Red Avocado comes into season and is ready to harvest from the trees, you will receive your order as soon as possible.*** Origin: South Florida grows over 50 different varieties of avocados and some of them turn red when ripe! We cannot guarantee your box will have the variety pictured, but we will send you the highest quality red avocados that we have in season. Flavor Profile: The skin is smooth and red when ripe. The flesh is gold, soft yet pliable, high in moisture content with a melting quality. How To Eat: Store at room temperature of 70 degrees or above until soft all over. Once soft all over, eat or refrigerate to preserve shelf life. (*note, these avocados may be delivered green or mostly green colored, but will turn red in color once fully ripe) First come first serve, any orders that can't be shipped this season will be reserved for next season. The total weight of each box varies depending on the size, shape, and mass of the fruit:  One Fruit contains 1 piece of fruit (sizing varies) Small Box contains up to 3-5 pounds Large Box contains up to 8-10 pounds Extra Large Box contains up to 16-20 pounds Bulk Box contains up to 34-40 pounds We ALWAYS recommend ordering a LARGE BOX for the best value, when compared to a Small Box.
