Origin: Spondias purpura, commonly known as Jocote, or Ciruela is a fruit native to the tropical regions of South America. Flavor Profile: Green Ciruela is tart, flavorful, and satisfying! How To Eat: Many people enjoy eating green ciruela with a pinch of salt. The skin and pulp are fully edible, while the seed should not be consumed. First come first serve, any orders that can't be shipped this season will be reserved for next season. The total weight of each box varies depending on the size, shape, and mass of the fruit:  One Pound contains 1 pound of fruit A Small Box contains up to 3-5 pounds A Large Box contains up to 8-10 pounds  We ALWAYS recommend ordering a LARGE BOX for the best value, when compared to a Small Box.
