This is the item to order if you want a Wood or a White Aluminum Dashboard in your Model 3 or Y?   Many Model 3 & Y owners have black interiors, but many want a white dashboard, and owners with white interiors want a wood dashboard. This is why we created this swapping program. Now that all Model Y's and Model 3's are currently made with extended matching door panels we are including the extended door panel option in case you have a newer Y or a 3 Made after 2021.  Pricing:  To swap out your dashboard it is $200, and  $100 more if you want us to include the extended matching door panels.  Your returned shipping is included to send back your original dashboard if we ship it in the contiguous U.S.   2023 MODEL Y NEW GEN. 3 MADE IN TX OR AUSTIN - If your Model Y was built in Austin Texas or Berlin Germany, the dashboard is TESLA's newest type, called Generation 3.  These have horizontal hooks that clip it into the dashboard core.  For this type we do not have replacement cores in stock yet.  ONLY order this type if you are willing to ship you dashboard to us in California.  You have to pay the shipping to us and we will your dashboard top and change it to white or black.  Then we will ship it back to you.Outbound shipping only $60 in the domestic USA, and we also collect a refundable deposit that you get back, once we get your original undamaged dashboard and door panels returned to us. This deposit is $200 or $300 but it gets refunded to you. Here is how this swapping program works. We buy Model 3 and Model Y dashboards from TESLA and from TESLA owners.  We take them on trade so we can upgrade them to carbon fiber or alcantara.  We convert them by removing the top panel and we replace the top layer with a carbon fiber panel or with alcantara ultrasuede. (These are 2 other conversion options we offer in our Dashboard Upgrade Collections). Ordering Options:     We will ship you a TESLA OEM stock Wood dashboard or a TESLA OEM stock White Aluminum dashboard and when you get it, you just remove your original dashboard and you install the TESLA OEM replacement, and the removal is very easy and no tools required.  See below for our demo video.  Then you ship your original dashboard back to us in the prepaid Fedex Box (Domestic US). Keep Your Original:  Some people elect not to send back their dashboards, which is OK, but we will have to keep your deposit.  That is why we collect an refundable deposit which is called a core charge deposit.  If you keep it we have to buy new ones from TESLA. REFUNDABLE CORE CHARGE DEPOSIT: $250-$400 If you want to swap out your dashboard and door panels, we collect a refundable core charge deposit of $250 for the dashboard and an extra $150 for the door panels, when you place your order. We refund this once we get your original undamaged dashboard and door panels returned to us. Once you receive your wood or white dashboard from us, you just pack up your original in the same box we send you, and then you put the prepaid FedEx label on top the box (only for the Contiguous US states) and then drop it off at any FedEx Store.  Note:   Also, your dashboard and door panels cannot be damaged or we cannot use yours to swap them with another customer. INSTALLATION:  Removing and installing your dashboard is very easy, no tools are required at all.  It takes 5 minutes.
