Your Original Wheel must be heated to work. Only $200 Extra. Just order any of our Non-Imported steering wheels and let us know in the Note to RPM if you want it heated version. We will send you a $200 invoice for this to be added to the assembly of your steering wheel.  The black leather version will be perforated as shown in the photos.  The white leather version will not be perforated, but will have a smooth surface without the perforation holes to avoid potential dirt collection. We purchase TESLA OEM Steering Wheels through authorized TESLA service centers.  These steering wheels wont affect any TESLA warranties, as they are not aftermarket steering wheels, but rather they are TESLA OEM Steering Wheels.  We simply remove the vinyl or leather handle cover along with the urethane under the surface, and then we build it with carbon fiber and soft Alcantara.  Then, we modify the perimeter of the steering wheel.  Afterwards, we vacuum form and mold the carbon fiber to the wheel core.  We offer Black or White Leather handles with your choice of Glossy or Matte Carbon Fiber.  The leather stitching will be black for both the black and white leather. CUSTOMIZATION:  The Colored stitching and embedded top racing stripe is free of charge.  Just put a note in the box on your shopping cart page and tell us if you want a different color stripe or stitching.  Please note that the estimated lead time for customization is 4-8 weeks. RESTOCKING FEES ON CUSTOMIZATION:  The Colored Stitching and embedded top racing stripe take longer for production.  Given these are custom features, it makes it difficult for us to sell them to other customers.  As a result, we charge a restocking fee of 25% if you cancel or return your order.  How does the pricing work?  These are only $999, with a $600 refundable core charge.  Installation is free if you are local to us here in Southern California. WRAPPING YOUR STEERING WHEEL AIR BAG WHITE Many customers love the white vinyl wrapped airbag cover in our photos. The vinyl to wrap these is free!  We will send you everything you need to wrap your airbag cover if you buy a white handle steering wheel from us.  The airbag cover will be wrapped with white satin 3M vinyl and we teach you how to do it in our video. We include a squeegee and the video link. INSTALLATION:  Self installation takes less than 20 minutes.  In our installation video we teach you how to remove the steering wheel from the column, how to remove the switches, and then how to put both back in the steering wheel you ordered from us.With your purchase we ship you 2 allen wrenches, an allen socket, and a torx bit. First use the 2 allen wrenches to pop out your airbag, then use the allen socket to unscrew the wheel from the column.  Lastly, use the torx bit to help assist you in removing the switches. Cleaning & Sealant:  For both black and white leather handles we recommend using mild soap and water to clean the carbon fiber and the leather handles.  Leather conditioner is recommended as leather can dry out, and something like mild baby wipes will clean your steering wheel, but to increase longevity, we recommend using a leather sealant to protect the white leather, or even a nanoceramic leather treatment like Ceramic Pro.  We use Ceramic Pro 9H to seal the white vinyl seats in many customers cars and we use the leather Ceramic Pro treatment on steering wheel leather as well. WARRANTY: WHITE LEATHER HANDLE WARNING:   Our white leather handles are made from very expensive Italian Napa Leather.  It is very soft to the touch, but white leather is prone to getting dirty, staining, and even premature surface wearing can happen when exposed to higher levels of acidity from hand perspiration. Damaging the white leather can become an issue depending on the acidity level of your hand perspiration which varies from person to person.  With white leather side handles we recommend wearing driving gloves to keep perspiration off the leather surface, or holding the wheel on the carbon fiber top or bottom areas and avoiding repeated contact with the white leather handles unless driving gloves are worn.
