CARBON FIBER WARRANTY:1. Weave Pattern Warranty - carbon fiber molding is very unique because thousands of strands of fabric are floating inside of a liquid resign. The patterns may show inconsistencies in direction and with gaps between the rows over curved surfaces. These variations are normal and are not a manufacturer's defect. At RPM, we take pride in producing top-of-the-line carbon fiber products that are durable and long-lasting. We want to take a moment to remind our customers that our carbon fiber products come with 3 coats of UV protective infused in the epoxy resin. However, over time, without proper care from waxing, or applying clear bra PPF Film, or using a nano-ceramic coating, this protection can wear off. As a result, the Yellowing Oxidation Effect may occur, which is normal for carbon fiber when exposed to prolonged sunlight. Specifically, when your car is not garaged and is parked outside in direct sunlight. In this case, yellowing can occur within a few months of installation. We would like to emphasize that this natural discoloration is not covered under any warranty. However, we recommend covering your car with one of our car covers to avoid this. For glossy carbon fiber products, the yellowing top layer can be removed with compound and/or wet sanding. After the top epoxy layer is removed, the yellow oxidation is gone, and the product can be polished to a bright and shiny finish. RETURNING USED CARBON FIBER PRODUCTS: Please note that once the double-sided adhesive liner is removed, the product is considered USED, and cannot be returned.
