The front fenders liners in the Model 3's are made from hard plastic. The rear fender liners have a sound dampening fabric lining inside of them just like this kit does for the front fender liners. This 2 piece kit is completely self installing, and it will reduce road noise from entering the cabin from the fenders along with reducing the annoying sound of small rocks and pebbles that are thrown up from the tires.
It is very easy to install. You just remove you wheel, and remove the TESLA's original plastic grommets, insert the sound dampening liner, and replace the grommets with our longer ones. Please watch our installation video.
TESLA's have to live up to a higher standard of quietness because they do not have an internal combustion engine or an exhaust system. Without these normal background noises everything is heard inside your TESLA. With this new standard of silence we have many products that will make your Tesla quieter inside the cabin.
This 2 piece kit fits inside the fenders of the front wheels as shown in the photos and our installation video. The material is very light weight, and it is made from sound dampening polyester with a blend of wool and cotton. This is an oversized item and cannot ship by 2nd Day Air.
Installation:
Please check out our installation video on the above tab. This installs in 30 to 60 minutes, and you only need a flat head screwdriver. No drilling and it uses all of TESLA's existing hardware grommet locations. Please watch our installation video before ordering it.
