This cascara from Verve gives intense sweetness of golden raisins paired with a complex tamarind acidity in this delicious cascara selection from the Bella Vista Mill.   Sourcing information:  Rich in caffeine and antioxidants, the consumption of cascara (otherwise referred to as “Qishr”) predates roasted and brewed coffee on the Arabian peninsula. To this day, qishr continues its reign as a more widely consumed and economically significant product than coffee in such countries.Characteristics of a syrupy body and citrus appear alongside raisin notes once it cools.
