Inspired by the bold and assertive frames worn by Buddy Holly, the El Rey brings a new attitude to the classic cat eye by adding squared off details and sleek temple construction. Originally constructed in 1936, the El Rey was an active single screen movie theatre for over 50+ years. After a brief detour as a dance club called Wall Street in the ’80s the venue found its footing as a live music venue in the early ’90s and continues to delight audiences with its iconic Art Deco design and regal interior.
