This listing is for 16 ounces of washed white mohair. This mohair comes from an adult male (buck) named Gandolf so the fibers are thick & strong, but coarse. I have listed it as “imperfect“ because some of the locks ( ~ 30-40%) have scurf (dandruff) at the base of the lock. Scurf can be tough to get out. It has been washed in Unicorn Fiber Wash and is very clean and shiny with no buck smell. There are some bits of VM (hay) in the locks. Because this is an imperfect fleece, I am selling it for only $12 per pound. It is beautiful stuff and I hope someone can put it to good use.
