Absolutely stunning refinished jewelry armoire - I am so in love with how this came out that I also made the same one for myself!!! This piece was manufactured by reputable, high end furniture manufacturer, Bombay Company, but completely refinished from its dated, tired state. It is painted a custom French blue. A very neutral and delicate floral design adorns the cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and sides. All of the edges, rims and trim are painted gold with some additional highlights with gold gilding wax. New glass and brass knobs adorn the drawers and cabinet doors. The entire piece was sealed with polycrylic for durability. Both cabinet doors open and swing out, enabling you to store necklaces and bracelets on the numerous hooks. Four spacious drawers are hidden inside the cabinet, all lined with spotless black velvet for storage of jewelry or other keepsakes. Unlike other pieces I've seen, this also has two large, spacious drawers at the top and bottom, also lined with black velvet. This piece is vintage and thoughtfully refinished, not new, so not perfect. It may have minor imperfections that only enhance its character. I like to think of my creations as perfectly imperfect! My goal is not to emulate big box furniture but rather upcycle old, quality pieces of furniture to give them a new, updated life. Please note that this will ship with the legs removed for protection.
