We’ll make it right—pinky promise. ❤️ THINGS TO BE AWARE OF (Bec we’re so transparent): -Our 16oz Plastic Cups come with a clear dishwasher-safe acrylic lid NOT bamboo. 40oz Plastic Cups include a plastic dishwasher-safe lid NOT bamboo (Cup styles may vary during peak seasons). -Our 40oz glass straws may not reach the very bottom of the tumbler, however, they still work perfectly for sipping. If you’re not a fan of that don’t worry, each 40oz tumbler ALSO includes a plastic straw that does reach the bottom! -Our lids do not have vent holes, but rest assured, this doesn’t affect suction as long as the cup isn’t overfilled. -Lastly, if you’re noticing liquid coming up through the straw when inserting it after securing the lid, that’s just physics, air displacement pushes the liquid up. If you hate that, just insert the straw before sealing the lid, and BAM! Bamboo Lid Information: While silicone bamboo lid covers are coming soon, until then, please handle your lid with care! -No soaking, hand wash only! Bamboo is a natural, porous material, so dry it completely before sealing it back on your cup. Moisture + no airflow = not good. - Don’t leave your lid on for more than 24 hours at a time—closed containers + no airflow can cause growth (as it would in any container with a lid). PLEASE NOTE: We are not responsible for lids that grow fuzzies—this is just how wood-based products behave if not cared for very specifically. Check out our dishwasher-safe acrylic lids for a low-maintenance option. 40oz Plastic Tumbler PSA: Our acrylic tumblers are BPA free. Since there is no BPA to harden the acrylic, the surface is softer, which means it can sometimes pick up slight surface marks due to static and friction. This can happen during shipping or even with regular use, as acrylic tends to attract dust and can show faint scuffs more easily than glass. While this is pretty common with acrylic, if you’re not loving how that might look, please explore purchasing in glass instead! If you have any questions about this, just reach out! We do NOT accept returns or exchanges on slight scuffing due to shipping. 💡While our cups should be totally fine on the top rack of your dishwasher using a normal heat cycle, please be aware dishwashing soaps, temperatures, and water hardness varies from home to home. This can lead to buildup that may affect the appearance of your cup over time. If you want to be extra safe, we get it, give your cup a gentle hand-wash! 💡Here in Louisiana, our water is moderately hard, and we haven’t had any issues washing our cups in the dishwasher. 💡Because dishwashing results can vary, if you choose to machine wash, you acknowledge that Sip-Sip Hooray is not responsible for any potential fading, warping, or damage caused by dishwasher use. 💕 💡Treat your cup like the cutie it is: no soaking, no harsh scrubbing (a gentle sponge is totally fine), and no soaking your lid either.
